Our school has grown exponentially over the last couple of years and now has two studios based in Arbroath and Dundee. We also offer online tuition internationally. We pride ourselves on the quality of our teaching and have high expectations of our tutors and pupils. We have over 14 freelance teachers working regularly in our studios, along with several class assistants and junior class leaders.

Requirements:

Completed or studying a Degree, Diploma, ATCL or LTCL in Music or Music Education

Minimum Grade 8 in principal study

Teaching experience desirable – training will be provided

Must have a PVG or recent Disclosure before start date
👩🏫 Junior Class Leader (Early Years & Primary)
We are always on the lookout for passionate class leaders to lead our Early Keys, Early Strummers, and Mini Music classes.
Preferred Experience:

Strong vocal skills
-
Kodály experience preferred
-
Early years or primary teaching experience
-
Music qualification preferred (or equivalent professional experience such as ABRSM exams)

PVG or Disclosure required before start

🌱 Junior Teacher Training Scheme
Our Junior Teacher Training Scheme is a paid opportunity designed to support and develop the next generation of music educators. Junior Teachers lead beginner 1–1 lessons and assist in our group classes, with full support, training, and mentoring from our experienced team.
This position would suit S6 pupils, music students, recent graduates, or those considering a career change into education or the arts. Junior Teachers are expected to be reliable, enthusiastic, and confident working with children and families.
All lessons are pre-planned and resourced, with clear guidance provided to help build teaching skills and experience.
Ideal for:

Young musicians with ABRSM/Trinity qualifications or equivalent

Friendly, organised individuals with strong communication skills

Anyone exploring teaching, education, or performing arts as a career path
